WHAT WHO WHY ??? That’s all I could think about while reading this book.
So the protagonist is Lowen a writer who signed a contract with a well-known publishing company, to be a ghostwriter and finish writing the 3 books left written by Verity Crawford. The successful writer who due to a tragic accident is badly injured and can’t finish her books.
To complete her work, Lowen is invited by Verity’s husband Jeremy to stay over in their house so she can go through verity’s office and take notes.
While searching through verity’s office she stumbles upon an autobiography written by Verity. Tempted to read but her findings make her suspect everything she knows about her and it revives her memories and all the unwanted feelings.
I finished a book within a day, and that says how much I was drawn by it. It kept me on the edge. Couldn’t stop, It was graphically vivid and I kept questioning the author’s choice of characters.
How mad were they? How far could they go?
And for the ending, It was mindblowing didn’t expect it and I’m still not over it yet.
I’ve never read Colleen Hoover’s book, even if I heard a lot about her. But currently thinking about my next read. If you have any suggestions, feel free to write it in the comments section.
If you’re in a reading slump, get your hands on this one. It’s totally worth it especially if you’re a fan of thrillers with unpredictable endings.
