After reading "this is going to hurt",by Adan KAY, I decided to read "the fault in our stars" by John GREEN. It's a teen book, exploring the life of a teenage girl, Hazel Grace Lancaster, who was diagnosed with terminal thyroïd cancer that has spread to her lungs. Believing she's depressed, her mom took her to a support group, to talk about her problems and find new friends going throught same health issues. There she will meet Augustus Waters, a teenager suffering from bone cancer leading him to lose a leg, but has since been cancer free

One of the book best parts is when Augustus traced Peter van houten's assistant (the writer of Hazel's favourite novel), who gaves him his email. Hazel contacts Peter to find out what's the novels ending, and what will happen next. Peter responded, assuring that he will answer her questions only in person.

That will be the reason of a trip to Amsterdam, and a birth of a beautiful love story beetwen 2 sick teenagers

I think I'm going to stop here because i don't want to spoil more :p I'm encouraging you to read the book

Honestly I was septical at first, because i saw the movie 2 years ago, and I loved it, and I believe that reading the book is always much better, and YES it is! There are some details and scenes not explicited in the movie as in the book

But the book and the movie made me laugh (several times), but most of all cry. For a teenage girl with cancer who was depressed, I think Augustus changed her life, that she needed him to feel happy and loved

So, did you read this book? what are your thoughts ? Feel free to share them with us

And for me, till the next review
