First of all ,I didn't know the book was a part of a series .I knew it until the end ,so it may explain my disappointment .The first 2/3 of the story are slow paced ,with no suspens .It was more of a character's presentation and their interactions .By The end ,we get to a little pic of adrenaline and surely a cliffhanger .

I liked each character's personality with their qualities and flows ,and how they evolved considering they're adolescents .But for the love story part ,I didn't root for them ,I wasn't even expecting actually .

To be honest I chose the book after reading the blurb and mainly due it's beautiful cover .I usually check comments of Goodreads but I didn't .However ,I won't dissuade you to not read it .It surely have some fantasy elements that would appeal to a lot of people and it is a part of a book series ,so the final thoughts need to be after reading them all .

If you've read it tell me what do you think about it ?
